i simply run four days a week almost for an hour. do you think i should give that up and start doing these exercises? my goal is just to loss 25-30 lbs. tnx

I think that whoever told you this should be fired! :-)Actually, on occasion, it's alright to use some variety; however, here is the primary tenet:Work muscles that work together, together. Chest, shoulders, and triceps should be trained together. Back and biceps should be trained together.It is not so much that you need to train these muscle groups together, but that you must REST these muscle groups together.Chest one day and triceps the next means training triceps 2 days in a row.

I was told that to do chest and biceps because if you do chest and tricep, when you start exercising your tricep they will be fatige from doing chest and you wont be able to get the maximum performance for tricep exercise. What do you think?

"I have a question, how heavy does the weight need to be for its effectiveness? I'm a teenager btw. Thanks :)"That all depends on your body weight and how much you can do. For the weight to be effective you should be able to do between 8-15 repetitions. |
