Exposing patients to Hg is justified because they will be subject to other sources anyway?Vulnerable, disadvantaged kids arent going to be able to identify, articulate or express the progressive deterioration to physical and mental health over years actually being caused by their pretty shiny fillings. And thats why these subjects were selected. These children have bio-integrated (read as; Been Poisoned By) Hg to protect the interests of poison-peddling scum.

In any case did you read the casa pia study? Not just the abstract? More realistic measurements of Hg vapor exposure are close to 20 microns/cubic meter per day for the average person in rush hour traffic. With amalgam contributing 1-5microns/cubic meter/day. Most believe that less than .01 % of Hg vapor is actually bio-integrated in the body. Mercury salts/inorganic mercury are far more dangerous. Renal fn. is the first to go, yes even before degeneration of neural function.

W.H.O. report 1991 states that amalgam represents the greatest exposure to mercury - more than all other sources combined, including seafood.Swallowed dental mercury easily becomes methylated (organic) in our bodies. Mercury vapour easily penetrates the blood brain barrier, where it gets to work de-myelinating neurons.That children's trial is a fucking disgrace.TESTING. MERCURY. ON. Just wanted to say to everyone do your homework. Mercury for our purposes comes in three forms- organic, mercury salts, and free mercury vapor. Organic mercury is by far the most dangerous to our bodies. Mercury vapor does "leak" from our fillings. The amount of mercury from our fillings in comparison to environmental exposure to mercury ie. from automobile exhaust in urban areas is negligible. Please check out the scientific study on pubmed. Search for Casa Pia children's amalgam trial.

This guy is a dumbass. Just because something wrong has been done for a long time doesnt mean it's right. What reasoning!!! This is mainstream lies, he said it himself, it's banned from land fills, so why is Hg amalgam in your mouth? jesus, people are doomed! ignorance is not bliss.

I agree that amalgam is going away, and sure, suing someone for doing what is accepted practice. There is something wrong with every restorative material we use. The fluoride issue is beginning to get interesting, but there is a lot left to discover. Keep reading!

Just so you know...but the US will ban amalgam in the next 10 years and blame it on "environmental" safety so that it will no longer be used. However, this will also make it so that no patient can go back to their dentist and sue them or have them take these fillings out without them paying for it. Now some dentists want to ban Fluoride which will rapidly increase the rate of caries in our population and money into the pockets of dentists. SAD!!!
