I love Ellington's playing as much as his composing.

Ellington is my god for arranging. He was beautiful. Him and Strayhorn were amazing together. ...and his mother called him Bill is by far one of my favorite albums.

im not getting at anyone in any bad way..but if its so easy..how come they are able to make something so simple sound so difficult..may be by knowing what the chord progression is, people may think its so easy..but there is so much more going on inside of these turnarounds besides the major/minor scales. like the diminished..(so important) the music is beautiful...i believe that the black man is a true king. so many world contributions with little respect and recognition.someone cursed us!!

Well done. Wonderful to see the masters at work.

actually, not to be mean or anything. It actually isn't a hard piece at all. Very simple really. You're just listening to these great pianists that can turn such a simple melody into what you heard! :)
