I agree with you. Lots of people complain cuz there are many bands which became "poser" so to speak. I disagree completely. In my opinion bands like Satyricon (who do whatever they want) are most true and more true than bands that still believe to be "oldskool true".. And you know why? Because "true" doesn't excist anymore.. Yeh sure, the music style still exists but they're just immitating that style.. they're not truly "true".. cuz thats the definition of the bands in the early days.

That's what I was trying to say: ideology wise, most of them are mainly singing about things that have been already said like a hundred times by other bands (Mayhem, Bathory, Emperor, etc.) but it doesn't mean that new bands can't be "true BM". Indeed they can. Only there's not much left to tell. So the one thing left to be considered is the music itself and it's up to you if you like it or not. And there are only a few that stand out of the crowd, I think.
