I agree. Roger Moore had nothing of the literary Bond. Brosnan did lose it with the last couple, but GoldenEye i think hits it fairly close - the emotional detachment, the sardonic quips - in many ways, GE is a glossy precursor to the Craig films. A nice mix of Moore's campness and Dalton/Craig's pure awesome.

Gladys certainly belts out this classic Bond theme! What a winner! I was fortunate to see Gladys Knight and the Pips in Manchester UK many years ago when she was overcome by the flowers thrown on stage. What a performer! Time she did another Bond!

this is the greatest bond film ever, it has everything, I love the pacing, the way there isnt ridiculous action sequences every two seconds. then the last 30min is awesome, the violence in this film reflected the era, and was refreshing. i love this film. dalton best bond and best bond girl, i forgot her name tho!
