Pfleger is a drama queen. But this was funny as hell. He plays to his audience. Everyone should understand that the black church has always been a sanctuary to be outspoken and address grievances in a fashion that can be quite theatrical. Never been very religious, but growing up my grandmother would bring me to her church, much like this. The irony is that whatever church you go to, there is a white jesus on the wall. Jesus wasn't white. That fact is the elephant in the room of christianity. |
