cried a few times while reading the kite runner but was really outraged by what the men did in a thousand splendid suns. it came to a point where the story wasn't sad anymore. i wonder y i'm still unsatisfied with my life - compared to what people had to endure just to survive a war

if you liked this book you have to read A Thousand Splendid Suns, his second book. I dare say, that it even more powerful than The Kite Runner. I loved this movie, saw it twice and cried both times.
