This should never even of have gone to any trial. It is a complete waste of our money and our time. Tragic events will occur and that is a result of war. Blaming those who are doing their jobs is just flat out wrong. Im glad the jury did their duty and acquitted this Marine.

Yea lets say you were a wounded combat and you surrender and they took your weapon away then the enemy decides oh am under alot of pressure lets kill this guy. Those Marines are TRAINED not to shoot unarmed prisoners. The law of war shouldn't matter what a stupid inhumane thing to say. Your just like those Cops that shoot unarmed civilians 50 times.

The law of war shouldn't even matter in some parts of warfare. In a major battle your soldiers are under a lot of pressure and human instinct isn't to take prisoners, it is to kill to save your own life. If he really did do it which I doubt he did he could easily justify it by saying that the pressures of the battle caused him to believe that the enemies had been captured were going to blow themselves up.
