I love this tune. I'm even more amazed to discover that it was Pat Metheny. I love both versions. I agree that Nick Holder has brought it up to date for this generation. The latin style drums that Nick uses a lot works better with this track. It's just a shame Nick sampled only two loops. I would love to have heard the guitar solo in there too.

This is the song that made me fall in love with e-music back in 2002. Pat Metheny was really inspired when he composed it, so as was Nick Holder when he remixed it.

it depends....Pat Metheny is not dance music producer. Pat Metheny is a musician not a dj. its diffrent things. if nick holder is so good do it music himself... not copies. and i like nick holder as a dj and producer...but this is a copy of Pat Metheny song Slip Away. litterally. with a kick and a bass but the rest is from PAT METTHENY

yeah great song but is not nick holder. the instrumental and vocal is from Pat Mettheny---Slip away . nick holder just used and put some kick and drums and VOILA.....Summer daze
