Although not from America, I have always loved Bruce since first hearing him 30 years ago. I was fortunate to see him at Wemblet Stadium in 1985. To me he is a modern day poet and writes, sings talks about what the vast majority of us on the planet do everyday and that is struggle whilst vast corporations continue to devour the planet at an alarming rate. There has to be a message in the song and he certainly gets his across. This is one of his best songs as far as I'm concerned.

I've been a fan of Springsteen since 1982. Politically we couldn't be more different, but the man's music moves me. Screw fucking politics in this one instance.

I haven't been a Bruce fan since his biker songs in the mid-70's, but this song definitely hits a nerve! Good job Bruce!! I especially am fond of the fact that every 'girl in their summer clothes' is so gosh-darn adorable in the video! Very Well Done Bruce!!!!...Very well done!
