I'm Egyptian and i was born in Australia. I first went to Egypt in 2004 when i was 10. I absolutly hate it. I wanted to come back. Stayed there for 3 months and then it was my time to leave i didnt want to. Although you think it looks old, Its a 5000 yr old city what do u expect. But if u have the chance to visit i highly recomend. I'm going again in 2 weeks.

mate, it aint disgusting, i just got back from Egypt, i was staying in Sharm El Sheikh and it was the best and we chose an excursion trip to Cairo to see the pyramids and go on the nile. I had the best time there, the food was great.

im an egyptian and i've never been to the dead city but im sure its pretty bad and you'd probably get harrassed there stay in khan el khalilli and islamic and coptic cairo and you'll be fine
