Well done! This video is one of the most watchable pieces I've seen on a subject that's intrigued me for a number of years now. Since I've heard it was possible, I thought it'd be cool to do, drive a car that runs on waste vegetable oil, but seeing you guys actually do it makes it seem way more possible.Thanks...

Speaking of manufacturing biodiesel -- like, mass production of "this kind of fuel source", for accessibility and market viability & what -- from what I get of it: If someone can figure out a way to extend the "shelf life" of biodiesel and make it consistently viable in cold climates, those could be issues that I've heard would exist about it -- hearing this over smalltalk, nothing fancy ;^)Considering how widely used diesel is as a fuel base, could it not be viable to the right research team?

In the shots of the protest in DC, the videographer showed not only one political side of the protests. This kind of balanced portrayal is heartening to see.

Google "greasecar" and they should be able to help you out. Their drop-down menu includes kits for models up to 1994. They might even ship to Europe.

hi there. great video. i have it on my favorites :) . got a question though. why is it that in the veggie car movies u always see mercs up to 1985. the series continued untill 1994. there shouldn't any big differences. I'm asking becouse I have a 1991 300d and i would like to buy that 1000$ kit. trouble is I live in europe. hope to hear from you. take care !

They were built by Rudolph Diesel to run on veggie oil, way before petroleum got a monopoly on the transportation energy market. Look him up on Wikipedia and it'll give you the rundown.
