Super, rien à dire, tout comme Roscoe, un travail d'orfèvre, des mélodies sinueuses qui ne lassent pas. Chapeau bas.

to me, this is the best song of one of the best albums in the 00's. simply brilliant.

Ha! Hence the quo love eh?Too right though, this band are restoring my faith in music. I hit 30 and became jaded a little. Being 'light on hair' doesn't help nowadays either. As said above by me, ELO harmonies and a 'The Band' type inspiriation. No Quo though. ;-)

That's exactly what I said upon hearing this LP (and it took me far too long to hear it). And sounding like ELO is no bad thing. At all. Midlake are the band I wanted The Arcade Fire to be upon hearing them being described. I do like the Arcade Fire, but these lot, in some respects, show them how it is done, in my opinion.

I am thinking 1970s California - how amazing! Love this song.

Reminds me of ELO, great song.

I'm from Spain and I discovered Midlake last summer. It was love at first sight. I can't stop listening to this song and to Roscoe. It's sad that they are not very popular, at least here in Spain.

I heard Zane Lowe play this when the album first came out, absolute quality, it is a very good album throughout in my opinion, the Fleetwood Mac comparisoms are a bit obvious but i can see where people are coming from though, i guess it can only be a compliment. |
