I am old enough to remember the Nixon presidency and at the time I despised him. I celebrated when he resigned. In retrospect I now realize that he was actually a very good president. Watergate was completely a trivial matter, it meant nothing. The things he did with China, affirmative action, the EPA, all those things are still significant. Kennedy was a great President but if people are really intellectually honest (few are) they will have to admit that Nixon was also.
