If it wasnt for the 80's the Grunge scene wouldnt of never blew up, in the 90's, so the 80's Mainstream sucked yes but the underground scene ruled.

Old emo is really good though but I'm guessing your talking about mainstream emo, right? Any ways Hype is an awesome ducumentary.P.S. Listen to Rites of Spring or Sunny Day Real Estate if you want to hear some good emo.

everyone's complaining about 'how nice was the good old times'. fuck u, there is some great music happening right now on this planet. for example check out galatea. The song 'lady serena' is fucking a good grunge song. the melvins would cry of delight, if they here this. so don't be so pigheaded;)

yeah i was just trying to diss emo bands. the hard core metal core is good though. it has some metal and emo influence but it still kicks ass better than emo
