These are classic late symptoms of mercury exposure. I have confirmed "extremely elevated" levels of lead and mercury thanks to industrial aircraft paint. I'm 33, am getting treatment, but have serious health issues.

People used to let their kids play with the stuff 50 years ago when it was thought to be harmless. I know those "kids" who used to play with it. They're 60 now and guess what, healthy. This is nothing more than sensationalist bullshit. Unless you don't live in a mercury contaminated area, or breathe in significant amounts of vapor, you have nothing to worry about.

Mercury is dangerous if you breathe the vapors. Holding it in your hand is as health damaging as eating a pudding with common preservatives. Swallowing it has minimal health effects as well, since its absorption in the digestive tract is minimal, it just passes through. I have been living with a sealed vial of mercury in my room for over 10 years, had it in my hands countless times. I'm no more brain damaged than you are ignorant.

I'm not too surprised about the big cover-up with the mercury problem, saying there is no link between mercury and autism. Read also about mad cow disease (prion, CJD, nCJD), fluoride, MTBE, nitrous carcinogens (mainly pesticides).
