It's not too fast! I studied Faure and sang this peice for my exam, it's not too fast! And there already is so much passion in there. It's a mass for the dead and he sang it beautifully.

Charles Stewart, You are gifted beyond description. What an incredible inspiration your voice is for all of us!

this is way too fast. check out faure's original score. best version of faure's requiem ever recorded was the george guest choir of st johns, cambridge version that came out on argo (london) in '77. now THAT's how it should be sung.

This makes me wish I was still able to sing this song. This was my favorite song when I was in boyschoir!

everyones a critic these days, may i ask what are your credentials 'joninho22'? this version isn't the usually, it is in an altered key espeacilly for acompanied choral music. the poor boys probably absolutly terrified, try it. it can be the best experience and the worst.

good voice for the age, but WAAAAAAAY too fast. Its a song about passion and beauty, and at this tempo is loses so much feeling. I understand the need for a little speed due to breath issuses at such a young age, but just a little passion. That is all i ask. No static singing! |
