The reason people think America never went to the moon was because FOX TV aired a controversal show creating doubt in people's minds based on hoaky, non-facts. It was irresponsible of FOX. These astronauts risked their lives and trained for months and people dare to accuse them of lying...simply based on 'hearsay'. None of you were there and only know what someone else told you. America DID go to the moon, and people need to wake up and stop discrediting these dedicated astronauts.

The reason they're not doing it today is because a moon landing is difficult, dangerous and very expensive. Much cheaper and easier to send unmanned crafts up there doing research. They did have the technology 40 years ago, everybody knows that, and it was a completely different era. It was the cold war and the space race. They wanted to beat the Russians and took a great risk by sending those people up here which would've been unacceptable today. Buzz and the others, DID walk on the moon.
