you don't need to be powerful or aggressive , mt teaches you how to break your opponent down!

That's true, but it's also important to consider the actual fighting techniques and styles. Though TKD is seen as a quick martial art, MT is more aggressive and powerful. MT also involves several different types of strikes, including knees and elbows, not to mention takedowns. MT is therefore more useful in practical situations, as it teaches fighters to attack the opponent head on and brutally beat him. In a real fight, this is far more useful.
