my point is GEORGE AND STEVEN..have to be given credit they took the bigger RISKS and had the bigger vision as far as who REALLY did what for those girls as far as EXPOSURE INITIALLY then GIANNI.. also the gentleman i was talking to obviously hates NAOMI..and was saying untrue things about her status as a LEGEND..i just corrected him..and had FUN doing so...

actresses had dropped off..and we were ALL very much aware of the stories of the HUGE sums DESIGNERS were making and those 3 girls were SOCIAL so naturally when you combine that with the visibility they were getting from the 2 photographers..who were pushing them in THEIR work..VOILA THE TRINITY..the press wasnt looking for other girls like that..cont..

GIANNI took a VERY personal interest in NAOMI..FACT..GEORGE took the RISK on HIRING the 3 girls PETER GOT PAID SHOOTING THEM...BIG difference..STEVEN AND PETER are the photographers who sent those 3 into ORBIT..GERALD MARIE has said that..its NOT a coincidence..cont..

and about gianni! he was the only designer who really loved her. he made clothes for them! the others only did it beacuse it was a trend!!! gianni underlined with his clothes their personality as supermodels. beauty and sexy! the other designers only changed them for their campaigns and shows!but gianni´s name was a supermodel brand!!!so he is also an important conributer i think!!

cindy was calvin kleins spokeswoman! a big brand with a lot influence in teens and twens!!naomi first black in lot of covers!!linda an her changeability but she had not so much publicity like the others until 1990!!!so it was a question of time until a popstar would recognize this new comming popstars! steve meisel alone with the trinity idea would had achieve only celebreties in fashionindustry but not a popstar level worldwide!so everybody contribute to it!!it was coincidence!! |
