I think Britney's problems started from having a marriage breakdown, and two kids in so quick succession. Most people think she had post-partum depression, then a divorce and two children under 2 years old, while being chased and harrassed everywhere by the paps. I think she's an incredibly strong girl, to be honest. Not many could live her life and come out the other side, like she has.

He apparently said he was Britney's friend/manager, but Lynne also wrote in her book that on the night she locked herself and the kid in the bathroom and wouldn't give them to Kevin, it was Sam that told her that Kevin had called him and let her have the kids for a little while longer, then people turned up to get the kids and I guess she panicked. The guy seems responsible for a whole lot...

This is taken from Lynne's book, but apparently one night when she was driving (around the time of the Britney vs K-Fed custody thing)she got a call from a guy saying there was drugs in Britney's house that would incriminate her, so Lynne searched all over the house and found nothing. She got a call again after and recognised the voice, and it was Sam Lutfi. He had been introduced to Britney through a friend or something, and obviously just worked his way in there.
