You suggest a wall wart when the purpose of the unit is on the fly and field recording, hence the reason it's the size of a pack of smokes-you're an idiot. Mine does great on rechargeables.

Excellent demo video. I saw an H2 for first time this week. Expect an Apple clone SOON...this little device is a "must have" for anyone needing audio recording. Hope it works with my camcorder!

why do those reviews don't mention how long the batteries last? what kind of batteries are they? how many does it take at a time? etc...

Thanks for this informative video. Do you know if it possible to listen in real-time to the sounds you are recoring, as you are recording them?

it has 4 mics: the front mic does a 90 degree pattern back has 120 degree or you can do 2 channel or 4 channel stereo! It's sweet! I recommend using the mp3 setting at 320 KB's i get the best sound that way

I just received my H2 and wonder if there's something wrong with it. When I have the front speaker designated and the lights for it are on and the lights for the back speaker are off, when I tap lightly on the back speaker, it sounds as loud as the front one. I wonder if both speakers are on despite the lights. Please tell me if I should return this product.
