Personally, I don't mind whether someone consider it to be gay or not. Simply, I like to know why people make those associations. And you are right! It is a brilliant song! catchy and funny!. Well done, Dschingis Khan!

No matter how many times I watch this I have never gotten any feeling from it that said "this is gay,." But even if it was "gay," would it really matter. It's a great song, and Dschinghis Khan was a great group, no matter what.

Moustaches and lon hair is one thing, running around naked while making *gaaaaay* movements is another. I am glad those times are over xD

Ha! ha! Very funny!... I know what the age differences is (not so much in the case of the Saxons, though). But the modern Scottish regiments still wear the kilt (in theory, with no undies) and so do some Greek soldiers. In any case, it was simply the look they adopted, many other male singers, songwriters and bands of the time also had long hair and moustaches.I think their look is brilliant and above all, funny, their aim is to entertain!.
