I was a machinist once upon a time... and that endmill was tungsten carbide. They can be run like that with no coolant. With a rigid set-up like that the feeds and speeds looked good for climb cutting, especially the roughing cuts riding over the center!I've seen 1" diameter carbide run like this and although I wouldnt say the endmill looked like new. It could still cut just the same. Sometimes they would run for hours and other times would shatter and crash and then your changing tools LOL

Dont give up! The best thing you can do is show up everyday on time no excuses. And for christ sake take note's on a pad to help you remember. Good Luck

How to shoot a video showing the cutting being done but ruining the tool at the same time use coolant next time it will help duhhh !

im gonna have to agree with the no coolant for milling....works just fine on our turn/mill centers though we tend to go with coolant to control heat:)

I used to work in a machining shop they fired me, said they thought i wasn't gonna work out or some shit i mean wtf i'm 19 and my first exp with this kind of work!

As a building site manager i'm wondering why the jobcentre has sent me an interview sheet for a trainee CNC operator, i cant see the connection and the "meets national minimum wage" is a bit frightening

nice job thats gotta be a niagara rougher ur using with no coolant hanita--what machine is that its looks like a vtc to me i worked on a vtc b4 very good machine good job wicked feed and speed...did u prove that out or is it a proven job |
