rappers now don't write any of their own music, they are just mouthpieces for their greedy ass producers. 80s and very early 90s hip hop was, without a doubt, the golden age. songs had catchy bass lines, funky short-struck guitar chords. this song is from a time when the 3-point line was brand-new. "when the celtics won back to back"... this kind of music just died out so quietly, replaced by what have now, songs about killin' and beatin' and bein' a fuckin pimp.
