and don't forget! nothing will ever replace trial and error. There's nothing that's going to replace getting out there and trying your luck at different techniques and lures!

depends on the location of the canal your fishing. I would suggest asking local fisherman, or looking up the waterway online. Once yo know the kind of fish you got in yoru canal, it's easy to find some different lures to use. I'd also suggest googling for information on eating habits, etc, so you know what your looking for depending on the time of the year.Or, of course hire a guide, assuming you've got a bigger budget then i do!

One of my favorite episodes. I miss being in florida. Canal fishing was always great to find snook. Been so long. :( |
