He's basically making comedy.He used some selective Chinese phonetics, chose the silliest character combinations possible, and the most liberal translation possible.People's names don't actually sound like that in Chinese. Furthermore, there are starnd translations (Taiwan has one style, mainland has another style). But in any case, modern translations just go for the closest sound approximations. With modern transliteration the meanings are not considered, typically.
