wow! nice videoi was wondering if spraying alcohol on the pan and the utencils would work as well as wiping them

Igot it from the Discovery Channel Store at a mall.

yes, that works just a great, it just takes a little longer to dry because its got more water ratio than the 91%, but thats it.

where did you get your mini spatula?

hey enkore, is it ok to use 70% isopropyl alcohol instead of 90%? i only have the 70% at home, and i was wondering if that would affect how well the pigment binds and possibly the color payoff. also, do you think it'd be ok to use this 70% alcohol even though i've had it for a few years?

you check it every now and then, and using a tip of your clean finger, touch the surface, if it feels firm, and no trace of the pigment sticks to your finger, you can start pressing. If it still feel wet/damp, give it more time.

yes, the pressed pigment will get wet, so make sure to let it out to air dry prior to storing back. I scrape some powder off then use a wet brush - then this defeats the purpose of pressing, and the reason why I keep some pigments loose. |
