Actually - it IS a touch sensitive screen on this Sony cybershot. A touch screen is a screen that you can touch to control the device. This camera is a touch screen, and I have had unbelievably BAD results with the durability of touch screen devices. They do not hold up, and overall - they are not reliable. That goes for phones, cameras, computer monitors, etc.

I HATE touch screen devices. The touch sencitivity always degrades over time, and you always seem to touch the screen at the WORST time, and that delays your shot. I say AVOID touch screens when possible.
