Please stop this Richard! It's not a game. Jesus Christ created you and loves you. Except his love and be saved from your own ideas and hate. If you except his love and experience it you will then know the truth. Whatever hurt or conviction you have towards Religion is probably justified. Religion is manmade and garbage. The true meaning of the Bible is Love. Not religion. I love you Richard, please stop what your doing and give your life to Jesus.

Stating that the universe is complex doesn't provide evidence to support anything. Its a complete non-sequeter. Maybe its complex for some unknown reason, or it just seems complex to us.Why would a god create a universe which is mostly pointless? Or wait for 13 billion years or 4 billion years of earths history, before creating humans. In a naturalistic universe it would take a long time for galaxies to form and simple life to evolve into complex life.

We are familiar with the statistics on the probability of life elsewhere in the universe. They would need to live on a planet near a sun, probably with water, etc. The stats tell us life will exist in the universe. It may seem strange that we exist at all. However, there will be intelligent life and they will be aware of the probability of their existence.

The vast majority (99.999%) of the universe is empty space - is that relevant? The millions of plants unable to support life? The majority of particles exist for a few seconds and then disapear? 3 billion years of nothing accept bacteria on earth?Science can explain the origin of matter and formation of galaxies very clearly, with huge amounts of evidence. The shear size and age of the universe means that organic life will occur. Numerous statistical models support this.

as the universe also shows, everything in the universe is relevant, every single element in the great big huge thing we call the universe. everything but the most complex thing in the universe. even the 2nd most complex thing can be seen over and over again & is nearly insignificant to the most complex thing in the entire universe. the nearly non existence of whats call "life". to think this amazingly unique, almost non existent thing we call life happened by mere chance just because? doubt it!

Atheists do not have faith, they have a fundamental absence of faith. It does not require faith to reject a theory due to a lack of evidence. Its a logical position. Why should a person give any credence to a theory without evidence? Find some evidence a god exists, then maybe people will listen. |
