I think Roger was rushing it and the drums were trying to keep up with him and then Gilmour slowed everybody down to the the right tempo when he came in. In the original recording I believe the tempo and the end of the song is a bit faster than it starts.

i completely agree with you i like the first too albums but the ones between 69 and 77 are the best and gilmour il far better than barrett

I am one the biggest funs of Pink Floyd and your comment is so silly the greatness of Floyd came out when Gilmour joined the band, Syd was good but my God Gilmours gave them the magic touch!!! RIP Rick...

Is it just me or is the beginnning a little off? It sounds like the bass gets off from the backing track a bit, and then the drums come in off too, but they soon straighten out. |
