I agree with you. I am christian but I love Ahel-e bait. According to our Bible Essa Ibn-e Mariam (a.s) and other prophets of Bani Israel also mourned over the losses of their loved ones or any national loss. To mourn is a natural feeling which God has put in human heart.

Shiites do matham in the month of muharam which marks the battle of qarbala, they do matham out of compassion remebering the how much the Prophet grandchildren suffered during the battle.When a loved one dies, its only natural for humans to take their anger out by crying, n even matham. Ppl in the prophets days mourned maybe through this way wen a luved one died IT WAS NOT STOPED BY THE PROPHET, COS IT WASNT SLEF HARM IT WAS NATURAL.U shud study it b4 makin assumptions.
