I think that she has a full recording of Lucia under the naxos label. This lady puts to shame anyone singing bel canto today. The only successor to Caballe and Sutherland--with the brief exception of Studer when she was in good voice, before the crisis set in.

I've got her singing Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with John Elliot Gardinier. Simply breathtaking! Is she a dramatic coloratura soprano? and what is her highest note?

Probably something that only dogs could hear. (I mean that in a nice way.) :). I have no idea, but I want to get a cd of hers very badly. Sooooo much better than Joan Sutherland or Sarah Brightman.

Yes, to my great satisfaction I saw that she is planning to do a lot of fascinating work in Germany, Austria and France, mostly sacredmusic ( Requiem and so forth). It´s amazing that her voice still remains as vital. She is not that young anymore.

Oh, good. Does she still sing?
swe50 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
I certainly hope not.I meant that she should have been more acknowledged when she was in her prime. I really wish she had a recorded a second album of favorite arias. Her voice is pure and exceptionally beautiful to me.

Has she died?

Impecceable! Organasova rules ! It is so, so sad that she never had the recognition she deserved. An authentic verista without overly decorating ! |
