That's basically my story, but I never bought the DVD. It was cool the first five times I saw it, but I've moved on to other movies :P

hey I never read the comic book once and never heard of it until the special edition dvd came out but I still watch the movie at least a few times a month...pretty damn awesome.

Indeed, it was three-hundred Spartans vs. thousands of Perisnas, and the Spartans won the battle morally. However, it was still an innacurate movie but an exciting one nonetheless.I never knew it had a comic book, since I'm not into collecting things or reading pictures. XD

not "inaccurate" but... it's a movie based of a comic book which is based off of real events. There were no elephants or sorcery per say but the battle happened and the number of persians vs. spartans is accurate.

The Greece might've done whatever the hell they wanted to with their myths, but I was talking about the directors of this movie. In what way is a rhinoceros an exaggeration? An elephant?Indeed, I know the minotaur was an exaggeration of the bull, but the directors of 300 didn't stretch the truth of the elephants and rhinoceri, THEY USED ACTUAL RHINOCERI AND ELEPHANTS IN THE MOVIE.Therefore, my original point has been proven: The movie is inaccurate but very entertaining.

The Google definition of a legend is:a story about mythical or supernatural beings or events. What do 'supernatural' and 'mythical' mean? That's what I thought; you see, the relationship between the words myth and legend is called SYNONYMS.And have you ever heard the saying "to stretch the truth"? A SYNONYM for an exaggeration.Of course they played a large role, they were the entire Spartan army!IDK how old you are, but I'm in ninth grade, and I pity you if you're older than me. |
