Nobody is taking it away from Joni Mitchell, but she was of a different time and times change as the song suggests so let them both be lauded for singing the song.

I agree that she has a lovely voice, but I too, like Joni's version better. Maybe it's because Joni wrote it, so it has more meaning for her, and therefore Joni sings it more with feeling, rather than just mouthing the words.

Harley westenra, she sung very good, but can not compared to Joni Mitchell sung this songin version 2000, Both Sides now. Joni sing this song , no one can come closed
