It's kinda sad that Steve Vai is so popular but the people he played with before aren't. I've asked people what they know about Steve Vai and they know a ton then I ask them about Frank Zappa and the mothers of Invention and they have no idea. But alot of people probably know Zappa too.

Very fruity, but undoubtedly a technical master. Geniu(o)s ? Frank Zappa was a genius. Vai will always be his little Italian.
