Does anyone else think Huey Lewis sounds like Randy Newman?

WAAAYYY before 97. I played this version of Jacob's Ladder on vinyl as a college d.j. way before 97. This from late 80's very early 90's....off the Fore! album.

I don't know why you're trying to compare them either. This Jacob's Ladder, if I'm not mistaken, was actually written by Bruce Hornsby...so from a completely different place than the Rush song with the same title.

This was the 97 all the way live concert. It only had 9 songs, and is extreamly rare. from what I can remember it was on eBay recently but someone purchased it already.

i was at this concert it was actualy filmed in portland oregon. Huey is on top of his game here. The band still goes on and plays well but the deep rock and guitar sound you hear are now more bar band like. Chris hayes left the band dont know why. Hopefully we will get some new material soon.
