fair enough, i didn't say they were bad now, just that i preferred Donnie. I met him at Speyfest and he was lovely! i just have a thing for his voice lol

From Elgin myself... anyway. Donnie was good and is missed to a degree. But i have to admit Bruce is far more 'crowd friendly' than Donnie ever was. They are still a great BAND and their concerts are just as good as with Donnie if not better.

You should go and see Runrig now, they are amazing, I,m sure you'll change your mind.

Both lead singers are amazing into their own right!! But above all I love Runrig, the band; it's much more and much better than any Donnie or Bruce taken alone. It's Runrig, love it or leave it!Thanks for sharing the video, Bruce looks so young... :-)

Those saying Donnie MADE Runrig are sadly mistaken. He was an important part of the band, but the heart and soul of Runrig are the MacDonalds in the songwriting and Malcolm in the musical side. Just look at Runrig's present success and look at Donnie's solo career. With Donnie the band was getting musically stale. With Bruce they're improved A LOT in that department and the band seems to be a lot more confident and relaxed when playing live. Runrig's changed without Donnie, but for the better. |
