Bruce Springsteen is an excellent songwriter and musician, but Manfred Mann took this and Blinded by the Light to a much better level musically.

Bruce is bollocks - he sounds like his trousers are too tight. Straining every sinew - there's no need for it. Every BS track that MMEB have covered they have wiped the floor with him. No competition. One of the best bands ever. And still going.

This is such a great track. Bruce may do it better but this version is so smooth, I love them both.
