why cant songs today be more like this? because since the price of samplers and drum machines have lowered enough by the late eighties, more and more people with no musical education started thinking they could make music. Low-budget productions began to prevail... and now it's even worse, because thanks to illegal use of file sharing, putting out a record has become a really risky business so record companies only promote dumb sure-fire artists.
