I've heard about the hatbox ghost that was supposed to be in the ride orignially. Supposively, there was this guy that was delivering the wedding dress or the veil to the bride, and she was up in the attic, and he was told to go up and give it to her. The master of the house(groom) went up and saw the man, and assumed that his fiance was cheating on him, so he killed the guy, pushed his bride out the window, and chucked the wedding ring out the window along with her.. later hanging himself.

Ha!! Finally I found someone who believes what i do. There was probly a gate there which was removed and they tryed to take it out with a chisel which broke it in the process.P.S. I think that not too far away is a hole where the other socket was before it was removed and a scratch going across the pavement next to this hole shows where a gate would have been dragged.
