This song, Paper Thin Walls, Dramamine, and Never Ending Mathequation are some on my Fav MM. i agree that the majority of people who listen to MM are chronicaly depressed. I love to listen to them all the time, which is when im depressed

theyres songs are the truth. the truth is sometimes depressing. you can ignore it or you can accept it, but its all the same at the end of the day.

That's understandable, but one of their soungs are actually anti-downer. But I listen to more than just this kind of music, for the record. And so what if people who have emotional issues listen to this? It's just music, and it might make them feel good.

how is this song depressing, its just trying to say your here now. if you waste it, and you die, maybe theres nothing else. the Beatles said it too, so accept that as a possibility, and maybe you wont be so depressed.

This is a downer band to me, its just real gloomy. And I personally think there are problems with someone who only listens to stuff like this. Actually I know so, my friend suffers from severe low self esteem! Its ridiculous
rebe12354 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
haha, thats obviously wrong. Youre retarded if you think bands only like interpol have meaning. Tupac had meaning, Biggy had meaning, Rakim had meaning. List goes on, Ironmaiden and Pink Floyd are rock bands that are fucken awesome in meaning. BEATLES ... nigga pls!

I don't know why but the lead singer always reminds me of Matt Parkman from Heroes.

Actually, some songs that are downer are pretty good. People write them 'cause it's personal and they think it can be useful for others with similar problems. Sorta like, "You're not alone". And don't hate bands just 'cause of the lyrics. If you don't like them, then just enjoy the tune. |
