i am writing/performing my thesis on jim hall's progression through chico's band to jimmy giufree's trio to art farmer's quartet to sonny rollins' quartet(with effing bobby crenshaw) to the duets(ron carter,bill evans, bill frisell).any friend of jim is a friend of mine!he was the finest guitarist in the jazz world and this record is one of the most beautiful moments in history!i can't wait to see him and bill in oct!thanks mr otaku for showing love to this music and sharing it with the world.
