Thats the truly sad thing about jimi, he died so young. In the months before his death, he was talking with miles davis about working together. Than he passed away.

I'm no great musician. Used to play drums a little. Nothing personal against Mitch Mitchell, but I sometimes wish I could have heard Hendrix with a more muscular drummer behind him. (Bonham, Baker, etc.) I know Jimi liked Mitch's jazzy style, but I would have preferred someone with more force and drive. Buddy Miles was good on Band of Gypsies.
