I saw it included in a program of Mary Ellen Bute's work, with the original film reels on loan from the artist's sole distributor...seems that she is the filmmaker and Mcclaren is the animator but I'm not sure what that distinction really means for her.

yes, mary ellen bute is the artist here. it would be cool if you added that to the info area or changed the title to reflect that. thanks for posting it!!

This is by Mary Ellen Butte, not Norman McLaren. She was also an early pioneeer of computer animation. |
