It isn't even a slip up. A neat half century is more linguistically potent than "fifty one years".It's why Attenborough is known and respected globally while 'donnykaraoke' prefixes sentences with 'lol'.

Donny -- that was a slight slip-up by Sir David (it still adds up though!) that occupied perhaps 3 seconds of the total 521 devoted to an impressive and heartfelt introduction. (did you get the message?)Perhaps the finger can be pointed back at the accuser (you) as you incorrectly interpreted the amount of years (by a long margin)...
