In the books, Frodo and Sam were two epic characters fighting against darkness...In the movies they are two epic AND very very gay characters. Those eyes...In fact, even Aragorn (who looks straight 'til the end) turns a bit gay after destroying the ring... A real straight would NEVER sing an elfic song in public.

No, they are NOT gay; you just see what you want to see. There are friendships in this world that are too strong for most people to understand. My cousin and I have this bond, and we're like sisters no matter what. Not many are blessed with this type of relationship, and you people mistake it for romance, which is completely different. There's nothing wrong with being gay, it's just that you've interpreted these great characters wrongly.

why do you have to immediately assume that two males are gay if they are intimate with each other? their friendship is strong and unfortunately rare and beautiful to see. that's what makes lotr and tolkien so great.

Lord of the rings...It's such a wonderful movie...It feels so real -just like Frodo, Sam and al the others... it is exactly - they really have existed...maybe somewhere deep in our hearts.
