Why did Rep. Waxman throw a tantrum? It seems like Issa was only trying to follow the procedural rules of alternating time. Didn't Speaker Pelosi promise Americans that "if Democrats win....the Congress of The United States will be more bi-partisan"? How disapointing.

Because Issa was using bureaucracy and rules (Which Issa should know the guidelines) to cover for the Bush cronies' ass. Waxman was in his right to squeeze any answer out of the evading hack. |
