u kno anna mcnealy (miss electra) i seriously know her, she gives singing lessons to ppl in my theatre program and is really lose with the director, she is absolutely hilarious when u meet her, im actually trying to get singing lessons with her soon, she gives all of us in the shows where i do them tips and is AMAZING!

um sondheim's music has plenty of tune. And no it's usually not fun because he writes about very controversial subject matter. Sure it's more sophisticated than something like Schwartz, which is what I'm guessing you're comparing it to. His lyrics are wonderful as well. Styne is a great composer, but I'd have loved it if they had let Sondheim write both the music and lyrics for this show, like he originally intended to do. Anyway I still love the show!
