Well I agree that the tests are absurd but you need to understand that the FDNY has standards that they need to follow. No coke heads are allowed into the FDNY and it only takes a little while to go off the coke so you can pass the drug screening and then join the FDNY. So they know that these drug addicts will go after the coke bag right as they find it and then they will know. But the firemen were smart to report it in the first place rather than take it which can cost jobs.
